Another Great Evening Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere It is getting a little stale to me that every time I go to Gotham it is a perfect meal :-) I mean do they really have to have the best tomatoe, onion and blue cheese appetizer that makes my mouth water just thinking about it? Or how about my partner's Cajun Tuna Sashima starter? Yummmm... And the steaks... We both had the same thing. Sirloin with French fries and baby beets on the side. I tried something new last night for my steak though... I ordered it Pittsburgh style, which is when they put it into a frying pan after grilling it to really sear the outside, while the inside stays that nice medium pink I like. Wow... out of this world. Especially accompanied by Gotham's Steak Sauce, if you are into condiments. Let's face it, this place is a never go wrong steak house, always worth the visit. Business Dinner... GREAT Choice! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere From the moment you walk in you feel great in this restaurant. Had a fantastic Bloody Mary in the bar area to start while we watched the hockey game. It wasn't that our table wasn't ready, we wanted to come early and enjoy. For dinner, I started by sharing the dusted crab cakes and shrimp cocktail with my companion, followed by fillet mignon. For sides, we had the beets, fries and asparagus. Everything was delectable, without a flaw. The waiter then brough a mysterious 'dark' sauce for me to try with the last few french fries when everything was eaten. Guess what... it was chocolate sauce, and I have never had anything so devilishly good! It was something he learned in Europe somewhere... even though we didn't end up ordering dessert as there was now no need, we left him a big tip for introducing something so unique and good to top off an always excellent meal. I love Gotham! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere Gotham has to be the best steakhouse in the city! I have never been disappointed by the outstanding service, or the delectable appetizers and entrees. No need to mention any one in particular, as they are all outstanding. Furthermore, the service is first rate and the drinks and wine lists are phenomenal. FIRST RATE!
